Film star Eric Bana has revealed his first love is and always has been his FORD GT Falcon coupe.
The actor, who has appeared in films such as Hulk and the upcoming Star Trek movie, has been speaking to the Associated Press about his joy of motor racing and in particular his own Ford, which he has nicknamed "the Beast".
Bana has even made a film about his love of the car, making his directorial debut in Love the Beast, which follows the actor racing his Ford in the 2007 Targa Tasmania Rally.
The film is bound to offer plenty of excitement for viewers, as Bana and his co-driver crashed on the fourth day of the race, although both emerged unscathed.
Speaking at the film's launch at the Tribeca Film Festival, Bana said: "I feel like it's a film I made on behalf of car people, not for car people."
He added: "As personal as it is and as much of me as it is, the audience seem to make it about themselves."
As well as his action roles in the likes of Hulk, Bana has a wide variety of film roles behind him, including parts in The Other Boleyn Girl, where he played King Henry VIII.
