Celebrities have been spotted in early versions of an electric sports car which is set to be made available to UK car loan customers.
Drivers in the US can already use Car Finance to reserve the Tesla Roadster, which can go from zero to 60mph in four seconds and will travel 225 miles before needing a recharge.
The car is now in production in the UK after film stars Matt Damon and George Clooney put retainers on their own models.
Writing on autofiends, Steve Levy said he saw Damon out in a prototype recently and managed to take a few pictures.
Mt Levy said: "Matt says this prototype isn't launching so well off the line but tells me, 'The 30-60 acceleration is like nothing else'."
The 100 per cent electric Tesla Roadster is based on the Lotus Elise and uses an advanced battery pack the firm says is recyclable.
It has less moving parts than a traditional car, lessening the chances of breakdowns and wear and tear problems.
