This year's Goodwood Festival of Speed is set to make a dream come true for current Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton, by allowing him to ride in racing legend Ayrton Senn'a old car.
Senna, who is still considered one of the greatest drivers of all time, was killed in a Formula One crash at the San Marino Grand Prix in Italy in 1994, but had by then established himself as an all-time motor racing star and was Hamilton's boyhood hero.
McLaren, with whom Hamilton won the Formula One world championship last year, has announced it is to bring back the car that Senna drove to victory in 1988, with Hamilton being given the chance to drive it at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Hamilton will also drive a vehicle to which he has become more accustomed: the Vodafone McLaren MERCEDES MP4-23 model which drove him to the championship title last season.
The Formula One driver is just one of a number of top motor racing stars set to take part at events at the festival, with other icons of the sport such as Damon Hill and Sebastien Loeb also set to appear.
