Easy Rider star Peter Fonda will be putting in a special appearance at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The actor and film legend will be at the event to celebrate 40 years since the iconic film was launched and he will be reunited with the famous chopper motorcycle from the movie.
Fonda will then ride up the famous Goodwood 1.16-mile hillclimb in a tribute to the film that Fonda co-wrote, produced and starred in and which ensured him a place in Hollywood legend.
Easy Rider became one of the most influential films of the 1960s and provided the launching pad not only for Fonda's career, but also those of his co-stars, Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson.
Peter Fonda's motorcycle will be just one of a number of classic vehicles on show at the event, running from July 3rd to 5th, providing motoring fans with a unique opportunity to see some beautiful older models.
The festival could also increase interest among drivers in used cars, which can offer them an opportunity to drive some more old-fashioned vehicles if they desire.
Among other stars to grace the Goodwood event are Formula One world champions Lewis Hamilton and Damon Hill.
