Honda offers car loans customers top service
Feb 4 2009 HONDA has emerged as the top-rated car manufacturer for customer service.
Buyers taking out unsecured Car Loans with the intention of purchasing a new vehicle may be influenced by the outcome of the UK Customer Satisfaction Index.
The survey took into account the views of 24,000 members of the public to produce a shortlist of 33 firms, with Honda emerging as the best according to a range of criteria.
Matt Gibson, head of customer at Honda, said the award was particularly meaningful because it had been voted for by consumers themselves.
"In tough market conditions, great customer service is a key differentiator. We are delighted to have won this award, selected by the people that matter most," he commented.
Car loans applicants and other customers voted for the best car manufacturer according to their satisfaction during the overall buying experience, from initial inquiries through to after-sales service.
Last month, Honda launched its new 2009 Insight hybrid car, which offers improved fuel economy and carbon emissions of 101g/km.
