Lindsay Lohan's car up for auction
Jun 3 2009Anyone who fancies getting behind the wheel of a used car that once ferried around one of Hollywood's most notorious celebrities currently have a chance to do just that.
It has been reported that the Maserati once used by film star and paparazzi favourite Lindsay Lohan is currently up for sale on auction website eBay.
The white 2007 Maserati Quattroporte GT, which has been caught on camera countless times as Lohan headed from premiere to party and vice versa, is being sold by its owner, pornography producer Dennis DeSantis.
DeSantis loaned the car to Lohan and that gracious act is likely to help him make a good profit on the used car, which has a starting price of $25,000 (£15,000)
However, due to its history of being loaned to party girl Lohan, that price could increase significantly as the bids come in, with plenty of people likely to want a piece of history in the form of the used car.
Despite Lohan's assistant famously smashing the car, that is unlikely to have a negative impact on the price, with its famous past pushing out any concerns over damage to the vehicle.
Lohan's assistant caused $10,000 worth of damage to the car.
Lindsay Lohan has starred in Mean Girls but is more famous for her party lifestyle in Hollywood.
