Car Finance customers may be interested to read that star of hit TV series The OC Mischa Barton has been pulled over for drink driving.
The 21-year-old was stopped on December 27th in the early hours of the morning by police, who discovered her to be under the influence of alcohol and in possession of marijuana.
According to the Associated Press, the actress had been driving between two separate lanes down a road in the west of Hollywood.
"During Ms Barton's detention, it was determined that she was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage," read a statement from sheriff Sergeant John Hocking.
She spent seven hours in a cell before answering bail of $10,000 (£5,005).
Car finance customers may remember Barton as being well-known for her role in The OC, where she starred as teenager Marissa Cooper until 2006 when her character was killed off in a car crash.
