A member of pop group Sugababes has been arrested after an alleged attack on a car.
According to reports, Amelle Berrabah - who Car Loans customers may know joined the girl group just over two years ago - was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage, as well as a public order offence on January 9th.
The incident happened in the singer's home town of Aldershot, Hampshire and Berrabah was bailed to appear at Aldershot police station next month. Any future Car Finance or Car Credit deals may be affected as a result.
A police spokesperson said: "A 23-year-old woman from London was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and public order offences."
Berrabah replaced Mutya Buena in the chart-topping band at the end of 2005.
