Top tips for car loans customers to beat stress
Nov 5 2008Unsecured Car Loans customers are being given tips on dealing with the increasingly hectic pace of Britain's roads.
With the arrival of National Stress Awareness Day tomorrow, Europcar is offering advice on staying cool and avoiding rash decisions behind the wheel.
While idling in traffic is likely to raise stress levels for all Car Finance customers, marketing director of Europcar UK Group Catriona Lougher says there are various ways to "release some tension".
Amongst its top tips, the organisation lists sufficient rest before setting off as key to a stress-free journey, while ensuring a comfortable driving position and taking a 15-minute break every two hours are also advised.
In addition, new and used car owners should switch off mobile phones so they are not tempted to answer them if they ring - not only reducing stress but also avoiding the risk of prosecution for talking whilst driving.
According to research from TomTom, satellite navigation systems also make 78 per cent of drivers feel more "in control" of their journey, helping to further alleviate stress.
