The MAZDA MX-5 has received recognition for being one the best used cars available to motorists in the UK.
Following its recent award for Best Convertible at the 2008 Auto Express New Car Honours, the MX-5 has been named the Best Roadster at the Auto Express Used Car Honours.
Mark Cameron, marketing director at Mazda UK, said the car continues to be "hugely popular" with the public and the media.
"It delivers on the promise of thrilling open-air motoring, with everyday reliability and modest running costs," Mr Cameron stated.
More than 90,000 MX-5s have been sold in the UK since it was launched in 1990 and there continue to be a "broad selection" of used models available.
In related news, Mazda recently announced its Kiyora concept car would be on display at this year's Paris Motor Show.
Meaning "clean and pure" in Japanese, the car features a four-cylinder direct injection engine to provide "excellent" fuel economy.
