Mazda Approved for Police Vehicles

Nov 30 2010
Mazda has been approved for the first time as a provider of police vehicles, and has earned a place on the National Policing Improvement Agency agreement. The agreement is in place for four years and covers the supply of standard vehicles, which also includes vehicles for special operations and undercover work.

Police forces across the country can opt for the Mazda3, Mazda5, CX-7 and Mazda6. The agreement also covers fire services, the NHS and the coastguard, who can all access the agreement for new vehicles. It is not the first time that Mazda will have supplied police forces but it will be the first time it has done so in an official capacity. There are a total of 18 police vehicle categories.

As an official organisation, the police will have access to special car finance packages, but for the ordinary buyer it is companies like Creditplus that will be able to offer excellent car finance deals. If you are in the market for a Mazda, or any kind of new or used car finance, then examining all of your vehicle needs will leave you well placed for getting the best deal possible.

Buyers of new cars on car finance will find that there are plenty of offers around at the present time, as dealers attempt to beat the impending VAT increase in January and boost sales at what is a traditionally slow time of year in the car market. Shopping around the different dealers will also bring different offers as they all try to beat the competition.
