Auto Express has named the MERCEDES-BENZ S-Class the Best Luxury Car at its New Car Honours 2008, car loan customers may be interested to learn.
It is the third year in a row that the S-Class, which is priced from £55,885, has received the award from the magazine.
David Johns, editor in chief at Auto Express, said: "To many there simply isn't a better limousine. Beautifully engineered both inside and out, it’s one of those rare cars that is as good to drive as it is to be driven in."
The car is capable of achieving 34mpg on its combined cycle, while emitting 220g/km of carbon dioxide – a performance that may appeal to Car Finance customers.
It was also the first car to be given an Environmental Certificate from the TUV institute in Germany.
Last month, the marque launched the next generation of it's a-Class car, which it claimed boasts a more environmentally-friendly performance.
