MERCEDES-BENZ has a reputation for offering classy, expensive cars and the S-Class Saloon is no exception.
Car Finance customers will need to take out an agreement for at least £54,227, but for some the cost will be worth it, as Parker's states that the latest model is an improvement upon its predecessor in terms of rise and comfort.
Top of the range is the S600 model, with its 12-valve 5.5-litre engine, but those without such a need for speed may be more comfortable with one of the other options in the three petrol, one diesel, powertrain line-up.
Handling is not heavy thanks to clever suspension and the car's interior looks upmarket, boasting plenty of space for five travellers and numerous creature comforts.
Kit includes air conditioning, electrically-adjustable front seats, cruise control, eight airbags and automatic headlights and wipers, while soundproofing ensures that noise is kept to a minimum.
Parker's states that car drives as smoothly as a limousine, while Mercedes-Benz prefers the terms "assured" and "sensuous".
