MINI has added another trophy to awards cabinet and up its appeal to drivers thinking of taking out a car loan for a new vehicle.
The marque has scooped the city car supermini category at this year's British Insurance Car Security Awards, which could interest Car Finance customers looking for a secure vehicle.
The accolade is awarded on the basis of a scoring system measuring theft of and theft from, with Mini beating off its rivals to secure first place.
Mini aftersales director Steve Nash said: "Not only does the MINI range look great, but the long list of benefits to the customer now extends to include security as well another feather in MINIs cap."
MINI also holds the maximum possible five stars from the Euro NCAP crash test receiving an 'excellent' rating for passenger and driver protection in front, side and pole impacts.
The Mini Cooper hatch has a top speed of 126mph and will go from zero to 60mph in 9.1 seconds.
