Mitsubishi new race car 'may tempt car finance customers'
Jul 16 2008
MITSUBISHI has launched a new "next generation" race car with a view to reaching new customers, which may include those looking for Car Finance.
The Racing Lancer is a cross between on-road and off-road rally technology and will be given its full debut during the Dakar 2009 race.
Customers looking for Car Loans may be interested to know that Mitsubishi has been working on the Lancer family of vehicles for some time and has already developed a sports saloon, sportback and the Evolution X car.
However, the manufacturer claims that with the new Racing Lancer, Mitsubishi has "added a new dimension" to its racing activities.
The firm hopes that the new model will help to boost sales in the passenger car sector as well as becoming a "key ambassador" for its diesel technologies.
Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Lancer Register, which is the organisation for enthusiasts of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, created a new world record for the largest ever parade of Evolutions at Castle Combe racing circuit in Wiltshire, according to PerformancCar.co.nz.
