Mitsubishi price cuts 'may tempt car loan customers'

Aug 15 2008 To help car finance customers during tough economic times, Mitsubishi has launched a summer sale on its range of vehicles.

Those with car loans may be tempted by some of the manufacturer's deals, which are intended to "blow away the clouds and depressed mood across the nation".

"Now, anyone wanting to create their own little ray of sunshine can do so with [a] great deal on a brand new Mitsubishi," it stated.

Customers can pick up all versions of the Colt CZ1 with a discount of £1,000, while Mitsubishi's Lancer Equippe comes with £1,500 knocked-off the sale price.

There is also a saving of £2,000 on the Lancer Elegance.

Mitsubishi is launching a radio, press and internet campaign to publicise its new sales campaign.

In July, the marque showcased its latest innovation – the i-MiEV Sport – at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Environmentally-friendly secured car loan customers may be interested to know the zero-emissions electric car is based on the i-MiEV city car.
