In launching the Z4 sDrive 35, BMW has maintained its tradition of bringing to the market cars of high performance without the undesirable increase in any emissions or consumption of costly fuel. This model gets its attributes of fuel efficiency and optimum performance from its BMW inline-6 design platform that features the high precision technology of direct injection fuel mechanism. In this the injection of the fuel is done by the injectors at high pressures within the combustion cavity. This kind of direct injection also helps in quicker cooling which in turn helps higher compression thereby decreasing chances of any detonation happening.

This vehicle has an exhaust system that has been fine tuned particularly for this model.
