FIAT has gone in for a change of name. It has renamed the Grande Punto as Punto Evo and wish to communicate a better driving experience, enhanced technology and a more environment friendly car through this name. This car will soon make its debut and will no doubt like other Fiat cars before it be heavily backed up by innovative Car Finance and Car Credit schemes.
This vehicle will come in five different models and will feature the multijet diesel as well as the 1.4 petrol engines. The diesel engine performance will be closely watched as it can deliver better power than the petrol one of close to ten per cent as well as fifteen per cent more torque. These engines also spew out lesser particulate matter, NOx and CO2.
When it comes to safety, the Punto Evo is about to set higher standards with the provision of seven airbags, with one knee airbag for the driver, which is a very thoughtful inclusion indeed. In fact, this airbag is going to be a standard feature in all its models. Some other thoughtful and creative features include a Hill-Holder to help the vehicle grip properly while ascending a hill, fog lights at the front that adjust on their own as per the steering wheel angle, ABS and ESP.
