Fiat Abarth’s plans

Jul 28 2010 Abarth, the brand owned by Fiat and which has been in the shadow of Fiat for so many years now plans to come out with its own two-seat sports vehicle. The company is also planning a small sized coupe and the point to be noted is that despite weighing 900kgs as the Abarth 500, this vehicle is expected to deliver power that will be almost double.
The company has been enthused by the tremendous success of the Abarth 500 and feels that it can bring along the coupe model to take advantage of the brand name that has already been built. They are expecting to roll it out within the next two years and like all other previous models, will support its sales through aggressive car credit finance and car loan arrangements.
Actually, the company seems to have got the timing right since the small sized vehicle is becoming so popular all over the world and all major brands have come out or are in the process of rolling out a small sized car.
Some changes are definitely expected looks wise as well as to boost performance and the company is also keen to price it very reasonably.
