Ford’s new engine additions

May 14 2010 With the introduction of the patented Ecoboost engines, Ford is all set to deliver more than 1.5 million vehicles and that is a clean 200,000 greater than some of the estimates done earlier. The Company is confident that close to 90 percent of the vehicles in the North American market will have the EcoBoost name and these vehicles will be sold through aggressive car finance deals. Customers will be more than keen to buy them making use of these car loans as these engines promise to cut down fuel costs and that is something every customer looks forward to.
Going ahead, the company hopes that by the year 2014, close to twenty percent of its global brands will be available which will have the revolutionary and fuel saving system of stop/start.
Ford is fully focused on providing technological solutions that are customer friendly and that is scalable so that mass production of cars with such advancements is not a problem.
The Ecoboost advancement in technology will also reduce CO2 emissions and will help to reduce the weight of the vehicle without compromising on the performance of the engine.
