Secured Car Loans customers looking for a bargain family car can save over £6,000 on the outgoing RENAULT Megane, according to the latest market review.
Parker's Car Price Guide revealed that, with the car set to be replaced by a new model, dealers are eager to shift the outgoing version.
The guide found a mid-spec 1.6 Dynamique model for £8,000, offering a £6,000 saving on the official list price.
Another practical family vehicle, the SEAT Toledo, has used models available for less than £6,000, it suggests.
Meanwhile, used car buyers looking to save on motoring costs might consider the CITROEN C3, which features Stop and Start technology that switches off the car engine when idling in traffic to reduce the amount of fuel burned.
Other small car bargains available to car loans customers include the FORD Ka, which offers "great value transport" at prices of less than £5,000 in some dealers.
A report by What Car? today revealed average savings of over £2,000 on car list prices as dealer's become increasingly desperate to shift stock.
