Britons planning to take out Car Finance for the purchase of a new model may be interested to read that Land ROVER is set to unveil what could be its greenest model yet.
The sub-Freelander LRX model, with three doors, will debut at the Detroit Auto Show this month but is not expected to go on sale until 2010.
Phil Popham, Land Rover's managing director, said: "The LRX is in every respect a Land Rover, but it's a very different Land Rover."
The model benefits from technology which helps to lower weight and increase fuel efficiency.
Among the model's features is headlining made of recycled plastic bottles, green car finance customers may be interested to hear.
Mr Popham added: "The LRX concept delivers the powerful message that we are as serious about sustainability as we are confident about the continuing relevance and desirability of our vehicles."
