Citroen is to release a special edition of its popular DS3 super-mini to celebrate the success the company has enjoyed with this model.
The car will be called the DS3 Ultra Prestige and it will offer buyers a higher level of luxury than the standard model. The Ultra Prestige will be available with a choice of two engines: a fuel saving diesel model, the e-HDi 110, and a petrol model, the THP 155. Prepare yourself for a car finance package of around £21,000 on this one.
The trim level of the new model will be even higher than the already well-equipped DSport. The Ultra Prestige will offer a choice of two colours: Thorium Grey and Polar White. It will feature dark tinted rear and side windows, a sports spoiler and 17-inch charcoal-grey alloy wheels.
The new car’s black roof is covered with an Ultra Prestige graphic that shifts from gloss to matt as the light changes. There is also the option of a Dark Chrome Signature, featuring dark chrome rubbing strips on the side, black door mirrors, front fog lights surround and front grille surround.
The “watchstrap” interior design features leather-covered front seats. You will either love or hate what Citroen has done with these seats: the colour of the front seats gradually changes from black at the base to white at the top – a concept they borrowed from the world of fashion.
The diesel model has emission figures of below 100g/km and delivers fuel consumption of 74.4mpg.
