The Volkswagen Golf – Living up to German standards

Mar 9 2010
Germany has always produced world class vehicles and for many years the Volkswagen has been a symbol of German engineering and craftsmanship. The Volkswagen Golf is the flagship vehicle for VW with millions of sales world wide.

While the original hatch back has developed over the years the Golf has remained its popular shape and size. The car has always been heavily promoted by the company through some very aggressive car loan schemes which has helped establish the Golf as one of the most recognisable vehicles on the road today. The new VW Golf MK6 is well placed to make its mark in the highly competitive market place. This one is slightly heavier with all the usual refinements and is elegance personified.

This is also expected to storm the US markets in 2010. The drivers in Europe have already had their fill of this vehicle and have started looking out for the improved version. In fact, the launch in the US is likely to be enthusiastically received gaining many fans with its sleek looks, classy interior and superb levels of reliability. It will be interesting to see if the Golf can take the US by storm as it has done throughout Europe for the last 20 years.
