The eagerly awaited Opel Astra GSI

May 23 2010
Opel fans will have to wait longer as the company would not be able to compete with the Golf R with its version any time in the near future. However, another cute model in the form of the Astra GSI might just be adequate to fill the gap in the meantime for die hard Opel admirers.
This vehicle that will also be sold through convenient car credit finance schemes will have a front bumper that is camouflaged and will present the car in a much more aggressive manner. This vehicle will also have dual exhaust feature at the rear along with elegant two-tone interiors. The sporty seats will also lend their own beauty to the interiors and the wheel arches that are much wider than the earlier models contribute their bit to making this vehicle sportier and meaner.
The previous Astra OPC was equipped with the famous Ecotec engine and was rated at 240 PS while the last GSI came with a rating of 200 PS. This one would be rated somewhere in the middle according to analysts and is expected to hit the showrooms only by 2010 end.
