Vauxhall Breaks The 100 G/Km Barrier With The Corsa

Nov 15 2009
In January Vauxhall will be launchings its first car that has emissions less than 100g/km; the revised Corsa with EcoFLEX. The Vauxhall Corsa will be the most fuel efficient car ever to be made by Vauxhall. The three door Corsa will squeeze 76.3 mph and emit 98 g/km of CO2. The five door version will emit 99 g/km placing it also below the 100 g/km barrier. The improved EcoFLEX system squeezes 20bhp more power from the 1.3L diesel engine. The Corsa will do the zero to sixty two mph dash in 12.3 seconds and top out at 110 mph.

The Corsa is known to be a capable family car, both for city and motorway driving. Vauxhall is quite familiar with the UK road conditions and all their car soak up bumps quite easily. Prices of the new Corsa have yet to be announced, so eager buyers will have to wait. However they can start talking to their car finance company about car finance. Once prices are announced they will only have to decide how much car finance they need and which car finance terms suit them best. There will be saving in road tax which will be a plus point with buyers.
