The Vindis Group has recently opened another Bentley showroom at a new location in Cambridge. More than 200 people attended the opening ceremony, which included senior Bentley executives from the company’s headquarters, potential buyers as well as motoring enthusiasts from the region.
The General Manager of Bentley Cambridge, Stephen Millward, and his team marked the occasion with a preview of the brand new Bentley Continental 6-litre GTC. This was one of the first times the highly upmarket 195mph convertible made its appearance in the UK. Guests also got a glimpse of a car that created quite a stir at the recent Detroit Motor Show: the new Bentley V8 4-litre Continental.
The new showroom has sufficient space for ten vehicles as well as a workshop. Fortunately for those of us who have to rely on cheap car loans for our wheels, it will also stock pre-owned Bentleys.
To provide visitors with a panoramic view of the cars on sale, the showroom has a specially designed mezzanine floor. There is also a seating area, a plasma screen, a hospitality unit and a commissioning table where the lucky buyers can choose their leather hides and veneers.
The Regional Director for Bentley UK, Geoff Dowding, said “As well as producing a memorable evening to celebrate the launch of Bentley Cambridge, we would like to congratulate Stephen and his colleagues at the Vindis Group for all the hard work that they have put in the previous months.”
He added that the showroom looked superb and that it matched the standards of attention to detail and luxury that Bentleys are renowned for.
