Car Finance customers could be guilty of a succession of bad driving habits, according to research.
A poll conducted by the organisers of the British International Motor Show has shown some car loan customers regularly eat while driving, while others owned up to quickly driving off after shunting someone else's vehicle.
The survey also revealed about 30 per cent of motorists have flirted with a traffic warden in an effort to avoid a ticket.
Racing driver and motoring expert Vicki Butler-Henderson said of the results: "We really are a nation of naughty drivers. It's unbelievable what some of us get up to in our cars."
About 18 per cent of motorists admit to putting on makeup or checking their hair in rear view mirrors.
Some ten per cent of drivers have once put petrol in a diesel engine by mistake and around a fifth of those polled owned up to accidentally damaging another car and quickly leaving the scene.
ExCeL, London is set to host the show from July 23rd to August 3rd.
