US-based car manufacturer Chrysler is looking to enter the chauffeur market with its new range of vehicles, according to reports.
After the firm's split with Daimler, it is set to branch out from its normal models by producing high-class cars like the Grand Voyager MPV, which many motorists may need a car loan to afford, Fleet News reports.
A new 300C saloon vehicle will be launched in March next year, which will feature a darker interior to give the car a more luxurious feel. With the new vehicles aimed at the higher end of the market, motorists may require Car Finance or Car Credit to purchase these vehicles.
Robert Thrift, national fleet sales manager, Chrysler UK, told the news provider: "Chauffeur business is an area we are looking to push as there are very few firms who can go to a fleet with vehicles like the 300C and Grand Voyager. With the flexibility we now have as a separate company we are better able to specify vehicles that we want."
Chrysler split from Daimler in last month.
