A new version of a US supercar legend has been launched at the Los Angeles Motor Show.
The Vector Avtech WX8 is the latest in a three-decade line of high-powered supercars from manufacturer Vector, which have revolutionised the US market.
According to Auto Express, the new seven-litre car can reach 270 mph and sets a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.3 seconds. With prices for the WX8 starting at £300,000, motorists may need a car loan or additional Car Finance to supplement the purchase.
Many modifications can be made to the vehicle by the manufacturer for Car Credit customers, which include increasing the power from 600 bhp to 1,200 bhp - making it more powerful than a Bugatti Veyron.
A review by the publication said: "Inside, there's room for three, while the fighter jet-style dash features military-specification switches, an electro-luminescent four-mode control panel and a head-up display."
The first Vector car was built in 1971 and cost $10,000 (£4,831) to buy.
