Forgetful Brits 'keep losing cars'

One out of every five Car Loans customers admit to losing their vehicle in car parks every fortnight, new research shows.
An estimated 12 million shopping hours are expected to be lost by Car Credit customers this festive season as they attempt to find where they parked their car, which could cost the UK economy as much as £648 million.
The study by Chevrolet found that motorists in the north-west are the most forgetful and lose their car an average of 14 times each year. The survey of 1,000 drivers found those in the east midlands were the least forgetful, losing their car only seven times each year.
Susan Kalair of Chevrolet said: "Drivers waste so much valuable shopping time searching for their misplaced cars and up until now there hasn't been any real solution to the problem."
A review of the Chevrolet Captiva in the Independent on Sunday yesterday (December 2nd) described the former Daewoo model as having "not one distinctive design quirk or trace of personality".
