Those taking out unsecured Car Loans in the search for a new vehicle could plump for the Kia pro_cee'd after it landed a top award.
The vehicle was named Car of the Year 2008 by television programme Auto Mundial ahead of a vast range of new models.
Despite the "stiff opposition" offered by cars as diverse as the Porsche 911 and the BMW M3, Auto Mundial producer Guy Hicks said the pro_cee'd came out "top of the podium".
The award was made based on the car's looks and driving entertainment, as well as the technical innovations on offer to Car Finance customers.
"It would have been easy to give the award to an expensive saloon or sports car, but we always felt we had to look deeper than power and performance," Mr Hicks added.
Kia has also announced that it is set to unveil a new take on the Soul at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next year, with the model due to go on sale in the UK on March 1st.
