Lexus announces greener model for car loans applicants
Jan 20 2009Lexus has announced a revised version of its IS 220d that offers unsecured Car Loans applicants a "substantial reduction" in emissions and running costs.
The current recession has seen the launch of a number of new cars aimed at offering improved efficiency and reduced tax rates for buyers.
Not to be left out, Lexus is now looking to bring the same benefits to its luxury sports saloon, which reduces fuel consumption by nine per cent.
The changes also represent good news for the environment with carbon emissions down 163 to 148g/km.
Car Finance customers will also be pleased to learn that the new benefits do not mean a hike in the vehicle's price tag, with the cost remaining at £22,015 for the entry-level model.
A recent study by Clean Green Cars magazine revealed that MINI comes out on top in the battle of the cleanest manufacturer, with its cars offering the lowest average carbon emission levels of any on the market.
