London is set to go green this June with an eco-rally organised by What Car? magazine, the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership and Revolve.
In a move aimed to increase awareness about environmentally-friendly vehicles, June 8th will be Green Car Day in London and will see a variety of events taking place over the course of the day to promote eco-friendly motoring.
As well as the What Car? Awards, there will be the Revolve Eco-Rally, which will see vehicles travelling from Brighton to London in convoy to highlight green driving issues.
The event could help to encourage more people to search out environmentally-friendly vehicles when looking to buy used cars.
A growing number of companies are showing off their environmental credentials in a bid to win over new customers and as more cars are developed with improved fuel-efficiency and other eco-friendly measures, there are more green options filtering through into the used car market.
TOYOTA has been leading the field in the green stakes over recent years, with its hybrid Prius bolstering sales in the US and helping it rival the likes of General Motors and Ford.
