Buyers seeking to take out unsecured Car Loans ahead of purchasing a new vehicle are to be presented with Chevrolet's latest MINI car in March.
The manufacturer is set to debut its Spark model at the Geneva Motor Show later this year, with the five-door vehicle set to "break with traditions" to offer a fresh design.
Its "youthful" exterior and interior appearance is expected to appeal to a new range of customers, while the car also offers leading fuel efficiency.
"The Spark will add great style, roominess and versatility to the segment of extremely fuel-efficient small cars," said General Motors' North American president Troy Clarke.
Fuel economy could be a major influence on car loans applicants looking to buy a new vehicle in the current financial climate.
However, those who like the sound of the new Spark model will have to wait until early 2010 before the car hits UK showrooms.
Buyers after a more immediate solution may consider Renault's New Megane Hatch, which is touted by the firm as ideal for those looking to downsize.
