NISSAN has begun production of a new car model designed to appeal to car loan customers looking for a four-door sports car.
The firm announced the first 2009 Nissan Maxima rolled off the production line this week, and hope to attract Car Finance applications with its series of upgrades.
Improvements include a more aggressive exterior look, a cockpit feel interior and enhanced performance.
Nissan North America general manager Al Castignetti said: "The Maxima delivers on all levels offering the value, quality, and exhilarating performance consumers have come to expect from Nissan."
The company exports the unique vehicles from its Smyrna plant in Tennessee, US, and sold 52,574 Maximas last year.
Maximas were first introduced to the American market in 1981, essentially creating the mid-size import sport sedan category, with four out of five of all models sold still on the road today.
Nissan also produces the popular Micra, Note and Qashqai passenger models as well as an extensive van range.
