RENAULT has shown its commitment to making electric cars by displaying its range at the Frankfurt motor show. Drivers who have driven Renault´s electric cars are giving very positive reviews about the cars. Renault´s electric cars are super quiet, have zero emissions and can travel 60 to 150 miles without a recharge. The cars can be charged on a home or office outlet where it would take 6 to 8 hours fully recharge. Renault is talking with dealers and utility supply companies to arrange fast charging points. Renault will also offer a fast battery change options.
The electric motors deliver sufficient power to match the output of a 1.6L diesel engine. Renault may be the first to bring the entire electric car line into production. People who want to get an electric car and help save the environment will have to wait for Renault to announce the prices and production dates. Arranging a car loan will not be difficult as Renault plan to price the cars well within customers´ price range. Renault dealers will also be offering car loan facilities. As small family cars that are environment friendly and easy to run and maintain Renault electric cars should do well.
