Rolls Royce set to reveal experimental car
Feb 23 2009The latest Rolls Royce experimental car is set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, Car Finance customers may be interested to read.
Ian Robertson, the firm's chairman, is set to reveal the four-door saloon, which is called 200EX and will highlight the direction of Rolls Royce's new RR4 model series.
The brief for the new model was to create a dynamic yet lithe car, which combines quality, refinement and an effortless performance.
"Modern automotive engineering is a balance of creativity, innovation and application. 200EX is an opportunity to assess these new ideas", explained Helmut Riedl, director of engineering.
Meanwhile, chief designer Ian Cameron added that the vehicle has "more than a little panache and perhaps more bravado than one might have expected from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars".
Earlier this year, the firm revealed that its sales had increased by 20 per cent over the past year - perhaps enticing car finance customers despite the credit crunch.
