Skoda loans 'offer value for money'
Skoda loans 'offer value for money'
Dec 21 2007
As the price of new Skoda cars fall, car loan customers may find they do not have to borrow as much from creditors, it has been claimed.
According to Skoda, a new Fabia Estate, costing around £9,360, is £1,000 cheaper than a Felicia Estate bought a decade ago.
Furthermore, today's Skodas come with enhanced specifications such as CD players and dual front and side airbags.
"This just goes to show that our cars represent even better value for money today than they did ten years ago," said Chris Craft, head of Skoda UK.
"What's more, we know have a four car range to offer buyers; the Fabia, Roomster, Octavia and Superb. In 1997 it was a choice between a Felicia hatch or estate."
Prices for the Fabia Estate, due to be launched in February, range from £9,360 to £13,775 depending on specification.
Skoda, which until recently was a much-maligned brand, became a subsidiary of the VOLKSWAGEN Group in 1991.
