Car manufacturer Skoda has released the first pictures of the newly-designed Octavia vRS and Octavia Scout versions of its highly successful model.
The changes follow Skoda's facelift of the Octavia last year and the company believes these latest versions bring the whole Octavia range up to date.
Among the new features on the sporty vRS are a redesigned front grille and bold headlamps, which for the first time can be fitted with xenon headlights combined with the adaptive front lighting system, the company states.
Meanwhile, the updated version of the Scout includes a similarly redesigned front grille and bold headlamps, as well as body-coloured side mouldings.
A new metallic paint, known as Rosso Brunello, is now available across the entire Octavia range, Skoda announced.
The new arrivals could see more of the Octavia range filtering into the used car market, as people look to upgrade to the updated designs.
Earlier this month, Skoda was named manufacturer of the year by the Auto Express Driver Power survey, overtaking luxury brand Lexus in the poll.
