The internet has brought a whole host of benefits to people. But it has also given birth to a breeding ground of car scam operators. You might receive an email of a fantastic offer. The seller offers discounts on popular models like Volkswagen, Audis and even BMW and Mercedes, which are hard to believe. Getting up to twenty thousand pounds off on a top of the line car is going to make anyone stop and think. These sellers are usually based abroad and can only be contacted via email. They promise that the money will be held with a ´secure third party´ and it won´t be released till you receive the car. You arrange the Car Finance and send the money and that is the last you will see of your money and of course the car was never there.
Another scam is to advertise a car that is not there. Once you get interested and arrange the car finance the advertiser will try to get you interested in an alternative and more expensive car. These deals are also conducted on the internet. The original car was never there. It was used as bait to get you interested in another car.
Never get interested in an advertisement for a car that you receive in your email. The chances are that it´s likely to be a scam.
