Car Finance customers may have been among those helping to boost Nissan's European sales last month.
The company announced that it recorded 53,162 sales in July, representing an 11 per cent year-on-year increase.
NISSAN said it had sold 393,965 vehicles since the start of the year – a trend Simon Thomas, senior vice president of sales and marketing for the firm, attributed to the quality of its cars for sale.
"In particular, Qashqai continues to be very strong and we are still unable to supply to demand despite significant production increases," Mr Thomas commented.
The Note, Tiida and Micra all made a "significant contribution" to the company's growth this year, he added.
In other car finance news, Nissan recently unveiled new technology to provide additional safety features to its vehicles.
The prototype all-around collision free system extends the manufacturers Safety Shield concept intended to protect cars from risks "coming from multiple directions".
