Cheaper Insurance for Nissan’s New Electric Car

Nov 19 2010
Nissan’s Leaf electric car will become cheaper to run after it was announced it would be eligible for even cheaper car insurance. There are already over 27,000 advanced orders for the Leaf, 55% of these have been for corporate fleet cars.

The Leaf also has a 3-year warranty, although this is extended to 5 years in all electrical parts making it above the industry standard in more ways than one. It is predicted that accident rates for the new car will be low which will also help to keep the cost of insurance extremely low.

Nissan appears to be thinking of everything for the launch of this car, all bases are covered making it affordable with low maintenance costs, eco-friendly and energy efficient. There has been no definite price confirmed for the retail sale of the car, but Nissan have been quoted as saying they will guarantee a price for the vehicle after 3 years if they wish to part exchange it or sell it back to the company. This seems like an all-round win-win situation.

If you want to pick up one of these cost effective cars they will be available in Europe next year. Car credit is available from Creditplus for those who wish to spread the cost of their payments. Car credit such as this can be used on either new or used cars. Obtaining car credit is simple and Creditplus makes it even easier by allowing you to apply online.
