Nissan Cube's UK arrival 'could tempt car loan customers'

A new NISSAN which has proved a hit in Japan could arrive on the UK market to tempt Car Finance customers.
The Cube is a small, practical, fuel-efficient car which has been embraced by hip young Japanese motorists.
A relative of the Micra model, What Car? reports Nissan is thinking of unleashing the city-friendly Cube on Europe.
The magazine says Nissan chief executive officer Carlos Ghosn believes reaction to the model has been good and its "next generation 'will be seen in many markets'".
The Cube's current generation is six years old and a new version could arrive to tempt car loan customers in the UK by 2010.
Powered by a 1.4-litre engine and managing an average of over 40 miles to the gallon the car became a cult classic after it launched in Japan.
An electric version is also thought to be in the pipeline, which could interest environmentally-friendly car loan customers.
