Nissan's Quashqai offers a good ride after a lot of hard work, Car Finance customers may be interested to read.

This is according to What Car?, which claims that the model glides well over uneven surfaces but suffers from bodyroll because of its lofty heights.

While a variety of engines are offered, all require pushing, but the 1.5-litre turbodiesel provides a better performance than the 1.6-litre petrol version.

Larger engines are available with a four-wheel drive option, while smaller powertrains can be noisy in the cabin, the reviewer suggests.

Exterior noise, however, is well-contained, thanks to decent soundproofing.

Features included as standard on the model consist of a CD player, air conditioning, front, side and curtain airbags, deadlocks and alloy wheels, with higher spec options adding features such as a Bluetooth hands-free kit.

Rear visibility can be obscured by pillars, but the seats are comfortable and supportive.

Those planning to finance their buy with Car Credit will have to invest in at least £13,699 to purchase the model, which fits into insurance groups five to ten.
