Warm welcome to building of new model for car loan customers

The prime minister has given his backing to a car company's plans to build a new model range, set to be available to UK car loan customers.
NISSAN has said it is to design and built a car at its plant in Sunderland, with Car Finance customers able to buy it after production starts in 2010.
The new model has not yet been named but the firm has said it will build on the success of the Nissan Qashqai.
Gordon Brown made his comments on BBC One's Look North programme, saying: "I am delighted to congratulate Nissan on this new model which will bring jobs to Sunderland - a British design designed here in Britain."
He added the initiative would not only guarantee jobs for the future but would also see the UK leading in an export model which would sell around the world.
Business Secretary John Hutton has also since welcomed the Japanese car maker's announcement.
