Car loan customers looking for soft top 'could go for Peugeot'

Car loan customers looking for a new soft top model could choose a PEUGEOT model after it recorded good results in safety tests.
German Automobile Club ADAC put three convertibles through roll-over testing, with the results of possible interest to Car Finance customers thinking of buying a Peugeot.
The Peugeot 207 CC came away as the highest scoring car in the tests, with its roll protection bars and strengthened windscreen pillars under scrutiny.
Peugeot said: "With a total of over 623,000 Peugeot coupe cabriolets sold since the launch of the first model in 1934, Peugeot's expertise in this type of vehicle cannot be questioned."
The 207 CC protection bars are controlled by an electronic sensor, which measures the angle and speed of rotation of the vehicle.
Once a roll-over situation is detected, the rear bars are extended automatically by 200mm in 175 milliseconds.
Peugeot and PSA Peugeot CITROEN recently opened a new UK headquarters in Coventry, in the the West Midlands.
