New Peugeot sells out
May 15 2009Car manufacturer PEUGEOT has announced pre-orders of its new 308 CC GT100 Limited Edition have sold out.
The firm has seen a surge in demand for the new model, which will be on sale from June 1st this year, but ahead of its arrival in showrooms across the country, it has fully booked up its pre-orders for the vehicle.
Furthermore, over 25,000 motorists have expressed interest in purchasing the new sporty limited edition car, Peugeot has announced.
It is hoped the increasing demand for the vehicle could also increase the number of used cars available on the market, as more people choose to upgrade to the new limited edition model.
Demand for new cars has generally been slow throughout the industry in recent months as the credit crunch hits, but Peugeot's latest launch looks set to be a major hit with drivers throughout the UK.
Earlier this month, the automaker announced the launch of its 4007 SUV, the Sport SX, offering motorists alloy wheels and stylish sports leather seats.
