In an effort to help those comparing cars for sale, PEUGEOT has launched a range of Blue Lion vehicles that boast strong fuel economy.

Vehicle excise duty for the cars is between £35 and £120, while each is capable of achieving a combined fuel consumption rate of 56-64 miles per gallon.

Additionally, the Blue Lion range of cars produces low levels of CO2 emissions, Peugeot claimed.

"Therefore, owning a Peugeot Blue Lion car is more than just saving money, its a good investment," the manufacturer stated.

Car Finance customers are able to buy the 207 CC Coupe Cabriolet, the 308 hatchback and the 102 super- MINI from the Blue Lion range.

Earlier this month, Peugeot launched a new version of its Bipper van featuring a 1.4-litre HDi 70bhp diesel engine.

The van, which is priced from £9,695 plus VAT, is capable of achieving 64.2 miles per gallon on a combined drive cycle.
