Peugeot 807 - 'No room for more kit'

Peugeot's 807 Estate boasts a decent range of diesel engines and plenty of kit, according to one reviewer.

The model, which is described by Parker's as being similar to the CITROEN C8, would benefit from a bit more space if it is to SEAT seven, with leg room being tight.

However, safety of occupants is a priority and the car was the first in its class to gain a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, coming fitted with electronic stability control and a number or airbags.

Supple handling and a light drive make for a pleasant ride, while the diesel engines perform well, the reviewer suggests.

Even the basic equipment specification is described as "extraordinary", including a CD player, six airbags, electric front windows and door mirrors, and climate control.

Website DriveTheDebate.co.uk gave the model three out of five stars, while Parker's suggests that the petrol engines fail to impress.

Car Loans customers should expect to invest in at least £18,657 if they want to get their hands on the model, which fits into insurance groups ten to 13.
